Songs @ Redeemer
Last week at Redeemer we introduced a song called Loved Before The Dawn of Time. This is a song from Stuart Townend that picks up on the truths of Ephesians 1:5. You can listen to it here...
This past week we introduced a new song called Oh, How Good It Is by Keith & Kristyn Getty. It's a song about how we see the presence of God among his people in the way that we love one another.
This week at Redeemer we're learning a new song called Finally Home.
Over the past months we've introduced a few new songs at Redeemer to aid us in our worship of God. Below are the links to those songs so you can be more familiar with them.
Recently at Redeemer we've introduced two news songs. They are Behold Our God and I Have A Shelter. Here's the links on where you can find them online.
Last week we wrapped up our series on The Church, with Mack looking at Colossians 3:1-17 on how we are to live together as church. Below is a list of songs we sang as we worshiped God together.
This week was all about Church Membership. So, when we're choosing songs for the church to sing, there's not many songs specifically about membership. However, one of the key elements of membership involves a call to holiness.
This week we're continuing on in our series on The Church, and looking at "Church Leadership" from 1 Timothy 3:1-13. Here's the songs we sang as we gathered to worship Jesus, our Shepherd King.
This week we started an eight week series on The Church, looking at different aspects of the church as we learn it from God's Word. This week we kicked it off with asking the question "What Is The Church?"
Christmas is a time of year when people often experience a heightened sense of tradition. We want Christmas to be just like we've always had it since we were a kid. Traditions are good, and rightly used can point us towards Jesus. But just because a carol has been sung for years, doesn't mean it will point us to Jesus. That's why at Redeemer we want to choose carols from our tradition that point us to the message of Christmas - the Jesus Christ has come into the world to live a perfect life, die on the cross and rise again for sinners such as you and I. That's the joy of Christmas - so that's what we want to sing about.
